First official day of counting the museum towards school, even though I have been there for about a year now! Today I repaired a book by reinforcing its spine, and giving it a new cover. There was a chart on one of the end pages and a few pages in the front were missing so I had to get creative. I added pages to the front so that when I added a new end page I would not lose any of the data. For the back chart I scanned it, and then printed it on the paper I used for the end paper in the back, so no data was lost! I also made an archival box for a t-shirt. I had to explain to Margaret that Folding the shirt would weaken the fibers so the best way to store it would be to roll it up, which we did. For my last hour and a half I attended the Museum's staff meeting where all of the interns were introduced.
